Can no one provide a recount of the amount of time it took them to transition their site? I am trying to create a project plan and really need to have some sort of ballpark numbers to give my manager so that we can green light the transition process. Cheers, Andrew.

Hello, thank you Ben, odaniel, and CapnMarko for your replies and suggestions. I put it forward yesterday that the transition might take a week. I know I'm probably underestimating, but I will do my best to prepare for it in the meantime so that I can do it. If not, the transition might get moved out of my hands (which might happen anyway) and we might end up with something that looks, well, terrible. Keeping my fingers crossed. Cheers, Andrew.

Hello,I'm just wondering how long it took for people on average to convert their iTunes U site to the new iTunes U Public Site format. We are finally just getting some time to be able to do the conversion and want our site to be listed again. Also what sorts of things should I be looking out for in the conversion? In the new site format, can you have contributors be able to upload their content and restricted to uploading content to Apple's servers to a specific collection only? The link to our non-converted site is:https://deimos.apple.com/WebObjects/Core.woa/Browse/uvic.caIf you could have a look and let me know if there are any things that I could change in the existing structure that would make migration easier, I'd be happy to hear.Cheers, Andrew.
